The failed change initiative in my organization was a change in automation and technology, which was only supported by the top-level managers. Every employee resisted that change and the implementation of sudden automation in the organization was a big-time failure. The major problem of this failure was that the higher management never followed the 8steps of Kotter’s change model. The management only followed 3 steps, such as making decision of change management, inform the employees and implement the change. As a result, the change initiative failed.
